A telling of good times and hard times in Surry, Maine during the years 1944, 1945 and 1946, as recorded by a woman who was actively involved in the affairs of the town. Presented by people who worked or socialized with her.
This is a scanned copy of the Surry Centennial Souvenir book, published in 1903. It contains photographs of many of the people and places comprising Surry’s first 100 years.
This scrapbook belonged to Nellie Kane, wife of Willard Kane. It was donated to the Surry Historical Society by their granddaughter Paula (Kane) Johnson in 2010.
